With digital video in adobe premiere 5.1 I import the video and the video shows up and it looks great but my camcorder audio has a flatline where it should hold the audio. But the firewire captured the audio cause when i play the raw footage it works fine. It even shows up on a lesser video editor. How come it doesnt show up in Premiere? Can someone Help!!

flatline means like its just a flat line and you dont see any vibrations in the audio part where it should have some. Its not a term used with digital video or anything it just reminds me of a flatline, you know the medical term? Because well its a flat line.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THE CAMCORDER AUDIO!?
